Don Baker Band

Don Baker is a renowned singer-songwriter and bluesman, best known for virtuoso performances on harmonica and the guitar. Bono describing him as the best harmonica player in the world. Juliet Turner + Jezzebelle

This concert begins just after the Ire v France match (9.30) which will be on tv in the venue. The show will open with Jezzebelle playing a 30min set and Juliet on stage 10pm. Juliet played her first concert in the Cherrytree last May and it was a special night for those who attended. Her charm was matched by her beautiful voice and well crafted songs and it is great to have her back again. Click names in blue for more details and to hear a sample of her singing. Justin Corr & The Quicksand Band + Carla Brunell + Niall Brennan

Niall Brennan of the Prescriptions performs solo, with songs “ranging from the highly polemic to gorgeously melodic”. The Quicksand Band bear the influence of country, folk, rock and soul, with a very contemporary edge. Currently they are promoting their second Ep, TEN GALLON DROUGHT PART II. Carla Brunell has been playing venues in Dublin over the past few years and her soulful, bluesy performances and accomplished guitar playing makes her a talent not to miss.

Celine will be playing songs from all three of her albums including her latest album, ‘Such a beautiful Light’, which has being receiving fantastic airplay and reviews both here in Ireland and the UK …. With Seami O’Dowd (Dervish), Rick Epping and Cathy Jordan (Dervish). Together, Unwanted demonstrate a deep understanding and appreciation of the music of both the Old World and the New, and together they have created a seamless fusion of these traditions, showing that the process of transformation arising from the musical ebb and flow along the atlantic fringe continues today. Wherever they perform, Unwanted are finding that they are welcome and very much wanted, indeed.
